Abed El Jaouni is the founder and Chairman of Imperial Holding, a diversified Group of companies focused on the aviation sector and parent company of ImperialJet. Abed who has worked within aviation for the past 15 years, firstly as a pilot and Training Captain for a German regional airline, before creating a number of aviation, telecommunications and real estate businesses. After relocating back to the Middle East, Abed established ImperialJet combining his aviation expertise with his entrepreneurial instinct.
George Murnane is the Chief Executive Officer of ImperialJet and has amassed over 30 years of experience in a number of senior financial and operational roles, both within and outside of aviation. Holding an MBA from the The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, George has previously served as Chief Operating Officer for a large European private jet company; as founding partner of an investment group specialising in the airline industry; and as Chief Financial Officer of a large US regional airline. George’s earlier career included a number of years at a large Wall Street investment bank and as a commercial pilot.
Jad Abujawdeh is Finance Director at ImperialJet and brings over a decade of experience from various multinational corporations. As a Certified Management Account, Certified Internal Auditor and graduate of the Olayan Business School, American University of Beirut, Jad brings a high level of financial expertise to ImperialJet’s Board and senior management team.
Martin Spiegl holds the position of Operations Director with overall responsibility for regulatory compliance and operational control across the Group. Martin is a qualified commercial pilot having flown for Cirrus Airlines and Augsburg Airlines in Germany, both partner airlines of Lufthansa. In addition to his day to day role, Martin is a member of the Bombardier Worldwide Technical Advisory Committee.
Gareth Cadwell is ImperialJet’s Commercial Director and oversees all commercial aspects including sales, product, contracts, marketing and customer relations. Working with both our charter and aircraft management clients through ImperialJet’s Charter Sales and Customer Relations teams, Gareth brings over 13 years of industry experience to ImperialJet including working for a number of major UK private aviation companies.
